WFP issue?

Hi, afternoon been having some issue with my Ova 8 pole obviously when the weather is warm the pole hose tube expands and stretches which is dropping my uni-valve further down, so when pole is extended out it isn't stopping water when pulled at the bottom is there any clip or accessory to put at gooseneck to hold it up i have a 2x eared O clip but feel it gradually slips back dont want to over punch clip as restricts water flow. Any advise be gratefully appreciated. Have have a nice weekend

We don’t use univalves just pinch the hose and if leaving the pole stick it up the end of the pole easy solution

What internal hose do u use? I swapped to a less stretchy hose to avoid this problem. Going tubless also helped as I have even stiffer hose for the inside of my pole now

The red hose Exceed Innovations sell is ideal for very hot water. Trouble is that it is a bit too stiff when using cold.

We find the Gardiner’s green pu is fine with hot and cold no stretch with either and not to stiff with cold

I use the red exceed and don't have any problems even like yesterday when I had to turn my hotwater off due to high temperature.

Its a yellow 5mm Gardiner all season hose

Looked into tubeless kit not compatible with Ova 8 at present

I have the bottom section from uni valve with xline meshed hose as it lasts longer and doesn't puncture easily very robust

I uae orange for bottom to as it lasts compare to yellow and blue I've had previous as split within a few months

Gonna give the gardiner green pu a crack thanks everyone for advice appreciate it greatly ?

I had that pin hole in my red hose and decided to cut it at the hole and fit a brass straight fitting. All has been good till today when one end came loose and nearly flooded the van. With the hotwater roasting it expanded but the brass fitting didn't so off it popped. Didn't think I needed too fit a few s/s rings on them but I will tomorrow. Decided to go on strike tomorrow and fit another shock absorber and general maintenance on my system. This is when I'm glad I have a 2 man system because I ran with one reel all afternoon. ?

@Pjj I don’t know how you manage with out a unit valve I tried the pinching hose and tap found it a right pain in the ars

Exceed red and blue both good with hot I have red on my Xline nano and blue of my pathom no issues at all I use the exceed hose stops but a couple cable ties will do same thing with out slipping
