This is more for soft water people:

Do you fill your tank with pure water?

OR

Fill tank with tap water & have it pumped through DI then to pole?

Any why?

I'd have thought tap through D.I. into tank? then you only have to carry the pure water around with you to clean with? Same method as us guys using a filtering system?

Thanks guys. At the moment I do DI into tank, then pump it out. But my pal has his set up normal water into tank, then pump then DI then out.

I think I may set my system up this way. Then you only filter the water u use, any water u throw away is tap not pure. Resin should last longer!

I uses to do tap to di to tank. Now I do it the other way tap to tank to di to pole, this way is much better you can fill tank quicker and if out and about and you run out and you have a very nice customer you can just chuck hose in tank and fill quickly. Also I am not sure if this is true but for me my resin seems to last longer doing in this way.
