Whats are these cables?

Hello gents

Got a gutter and facia clean job next week.

Old house in a vllage nearby to me.

It has a fair few cables going into the house from a mast.

I am right that its NOT a pylon as they dont have power going into houses from pylons like this?.

Its a telephone cable?...

Normally you can tell by the thickness of the wire whether it's electric.

You could touch it to see if it's electric :shake::shake:

No seriously we have loads of these by us. They are telephone cables. Just watch you don't get ladder / wfp caught in them and pull the cable down. BT won't be happy.

It's a maypole lol, where I live the poles have bt lines and mains electric power I live in a villiage and all electric is supplied overhead.
