GoCardless as an expense?

Morning all,

As the title says, can you claim the 1% that GoCardless charge as an allowable expense?

Makes sense to me as it's a business cost just like you would pay an accountant or a bank charge.

Would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this folks.

Is there a quick way of finding out how much you've taken on go cardless for the year

Of course. Same with paypal.

Pain in the **** when you are doing your own return as you cant just declare the amount you've actually recieved you have to declare the amount before fees then take the fees off as an expense.
