Which Gardiner Pole Shall I Buy?

Well I bought a trolley system on Friday. I was adviced to get a 27' pole by a mate. I got an Unger one in the package. Now I've cleaned the top windows of my house which has an extension. The pole was fully extended and was really hard work! The pole was swaying all over the shop. There's no way I can use it all day, I'll end up looking like Popeye.

Here is my question, which Gardiner pole will be best for normal 2 storey houses. The CLX10 or the CLX14? Also, how does the fitted flow valve they supply work?

You'll really struggle to do most 2 stoery houses with the 14- nearly impossible with the 10.

I'd advise 18 minimum or the 22 CLX.

There might be a few houses you can reach with the 14, but before very long you'll need an extra few feet. I reckon I could only reach about 10% of my 2 storey with a 14.

Why dont u get a 30ft pole ? cos if u get a 2 storey pole u will need another 1 when u come across a 3 storey house mate

The Gardiner poles are MUCH lighter than most other brands, so compare the weight of what you've got to the weights listed on the website & see what a difference it would make.

I used the CLX-27 as my everyday pole & didn't find it overly heavy,.. though the SLX range is lighter again & more rigid which also makes the job easier.

For me it's the Gardiner CLX-27. No issues at all with it... and will reach up to 30ft.

clx27 is good aswell all gardiner poles are good mate

it depends on your budjet, the clx is nice and light and cheap however will be whippy at the top on high houses, the slx is a far greater pole very nice to work with for your every day pole if you plan on having a longer one to use where you cant reach i would say the slx 22 is pretty much the ideal pole. also an option you can do for a two in one kind on thing is to by a supermax and take of a few sections, this will giove you up to 50 reach if you need it, just buy another smaller end cap
