    Hi chaps,

I need to purchase reliable pumps with a good durable dead end switch fitted to my 2 man 700ltr tank.

In your opinion. Which pump is best.

    Shurflo
    Flojet
    Gardiners
    Aquatec etc

    I value your opinions.

Having used both in various systems I would say there's not much between the Aquatec and the sureflo re dead ending.
I have to add using the switches used for dead ending, they are not really meant for continuous use. it's just a microswitch, they burn out quicker if the pump is on full chat
The Aquatec has a much better diaphragm pump arrangement and at low speed this makes a difference in the flow being smoother and less squirty as it ages and gets less efficient
It also seemed to be less susceptible to poor performance due to resin ingress
The Sureflo is dead easy to maintain for the DIY bloke, spares are plentiful and it is far more common.

Had my Flojet 8 years, runs at 100% 5 days a week. Never failed not even a pressure switch. They are very reasonable at window cleaning warehouse too
