Those strip led lights give off a good amount of light as we had had the multi-function ones across the tops of the kitchen cabinets in the past, I was going to buy a 1-2 metre strip battery operated off flea bay over the weekend and place them just inside of the doors across the roof and down the sides which should provide a decent amount of light

I did the same iron giant but t’d in to the van lighting with an over-ride switch. The benefit I found to this is the rear van lights go off after about 10minutes so would never flatten the main battery. I brought the 5m strip and some sections of the lens. I also tried a small section of it inside my tank as a tank water level ‘sight’ but the light is too bright and just made the whole tank glow!!!

I put some water led strip lights in my van a few years ago
Along the top courner on both side and run the wire so the old light switch and taken out the old bulbs
So can still have them on and off or to come on when the door opens and they are really bright and cheap
