Hi all,

Ive been looking at the window cleaning coach which is awesome, had a look at the website recommended for which kit needed which was http://www.diywaterfedpole.co.uk/

only thing im not getting is the RO units and the way they advertise them saying 50 gallons a day or 75 gallons a day etc etc,i dont get this what if you want more surely it will pump through alday, whats the measurements mean.

Also how long does it for the whole process to take from the mains water through the RO and DI unit per litre usually.

Any help would be great

Thanks

The 50 or 75 gpd is the maximum amount of pure water that it will make in a 24hour period.

I use a pumped 200gpd one and that would make upto 200 gallons in 24 hours. Roughly works out to be 3 minutes.

Its a good site but this part really angers me....

''Work out an hourly rate that you want to earn, don't think of a stupid rate like 50 pounds an hour (although I have heard it is possible to earn that kind of money on commercial jobs) because you're only a window cleaner, a job that doesn't require a gigantic amout of skill or specialist training to be fair.''

''because you're only a window cleaner''

Makes my blood boil that, so what... You dont need to train for years to do it? Does that really mean you should make some decent money?

like it or not, it is just cleaning windows, anyone can set up and do it, i dont think the guy is saying you should work for peanuts, just that you shouldnt expect the same salary as a dr or professor, lol, bear in mind he is a window cleaner himself, i doubt it was meant as an insult
