    I need to do a written quote for a new customer, what do I need to include and is there any templates I can look at?

    nope I just checked right at the bottom on the home page and cant see one for quotes...but.....soon be there I am sure..

    I just jot it down on any paper at present with my details on...

    dont forget..the special tax if its warranted:D...

    I knocked some up on the computer and have them on a clipboard. Makes me look professional :laugh:

    I use an app for my phone called invoice maker
    Looks professional once made
    And can instantly email it
    Does invoices and quotes

    depends on what type of company you are too. if you are only a sole trader you can write it on the back of a beer matt

    ltd co. you need to obviously incl. company number/vat number and trading address.

    Its pretty simple if you are a sole trader.

    Service, requirements, frequency, your trading address, date, signed (you) and include the price. make sure and date the price as well for 30 days, after that you then re-quote at a higher price for wasting your time. if they are interested they will contact you within 30 days
