Think a lot of small businesses will be hit hard with this Gav. Many aren't even aware of this and won't be until it's too late. A lot of those that are aware of it can't afford/haven't budgeted for this change!

Makes sense though given the percentage of mobile browsing, but that's not particularly helpful for small business owners who can't afford the switch!

This change has been hinted at by Google for a long time, and I think it will be a very good thing for the internet in the long run despite any initial upsets,.. less and less people view the internet on computers these days, its all phones & tablets, so its only right that search results show the sites that these users want to find.

Mobile friendly web design isn't new & it isn't hard to implement,.. if your site isn't mobile friendly already then chances are its a couple of years old & due a refresh anyway - so get to work & get it done,.. you've got just under 4 weeks!
