Is it trade or domestic use?

5.5 metres is ok but you won't be able to do 3 story houses with it..mine are 8.5 metres and reach everything..gutters should be ok though

That's a bargain for sure & a handy little ladder to have.

These ladders can be handy for first floor windows that sit a lot higher than normal. Take care with the angle you sit it at though. I have an identical piece of kit and it slipped on me (when I was using it as a ladder) when i was 10 to 12 feet up. Ended up on my **** with my leg stuck under it. I lost faith and trust in the ladder from thereon. I just dont feel the feet grip the floor sufficiently. Its fine as a stepladder though

All ladders can slip out from the bottom if set at the wrong angle and even set at the right angle on dodgy surfaces.

 
Very true Smurf. I do like articulated safety feet on my ladder...they just feel a little bit safer, though I realise they are not fool proof.
