Looks to be some big jobs there mate, hope your quotes come in. Do you work on your own or do you have staff working for you

Nice one Neil. Do you find it difficult getting all your jobs done at this time of the year what with bad weather and short days etc. I know I do.

Do you use carbon guttervac poles?

I do mate but try and fit everything in as with our job it can't all be win win if you know what I mean

nope lol, on the yellow brick block or could say creme colour haha I will be getting scaffolding up all round as they want the fascia's cleaned and gutters so I want to be up close and personal

The biggest quote I've ever done was for a 4 storey building. The price for the scaffolding alone came to £16,000. /emoticons/biggrin.png

The price on 2 of these blocks is £18,000 just for scaffolding lol

How much would you guys charge to clean the white gutters and fascias and clear the gutters on these 2 blocks all the way round? There will be scaffolding up so I will be able to do it all by hand.

I'd do it all from the ground and pocket the £18000......

I would take some money up front, buy a better gutter vac with camera, better wfp than my banana, have a ladder long enough for the downpipes if they are blocked.

Push comes to shove you can hire a cherry picker for about £150 for the day if you wanted to do downpipes safer than a ladder.

So why is the scaffolding already up and does it have a lift also around all the dorma windows so you can reach them by hand too?

Have a misunderstood? there is scaffolding up already that they will let you use, or the scaffolding will be just for you to do this job?

The job is going to have scaffold for me to do the job if I get it, it's not up yet. No access for cherry pickers round back and front only one side. The dormers don't need doing now

No chance with a gutter vac as the tiles are over hanging so much that the tool won't fit in and you wouldn't be able to do a proper job

Scaffolding for 18 grand really can't be the answer..... surely? if it was higher then sure, but it aint that high.

Just hire one scaffold tower on wheels and push it round?

If you can get full scaffolding up, you can get a cherry picker in as well surely? the modern ones have a very small footprint.
