Water only trickling...

My battery reading is around 12.4 when I get going, but then rapidly drops and the water trickles within a miniute. I then have to run the van to get through the job as my van batt charges the system batt.

My battery has been tested and is fine - only changed it about a year ago, but I am being told that it's not holding its charge. Anyone know how I deal with this? I have an Interloc System bought from WCW.

@spruce is the fella for this sort of stuff and gives an in depth answer when he tries to solve a problem.

I too reckon the battery is buggered. Do you bench charge it at all? When you connect to your van battery, is your system running as it should ie water flowing well?

I'm told the batt is okay when I took it to a Marina to have it checked.

It does flow better when I connect it to the van battery reading 12.6, but still not flowing 100%, I'd say 70% as should. But it does allow me to get the work finished at least! But can't keep working this way. it's doing my nut in! :-(
