Smurf pron? :P

Pr0n is internet code mate, it stops google from treating gavs forum like a pr0n site. And I called it pr0n since smurf lives for this. In fact I reckon the only reason hes not replied is because hes slow to type one handed. :D

...that and the arthritis.

I'm going to start taking more pics mate, I need to get rid of the stock pics on my website, so its about time I started. In spring when the weather comes out I'm going to have my mate take some decent photos for me.

I did a lot of gutter work last year, but to be honest I often find it harder work then the windows lugging the bastardo ladder about. But doing just one or two a day works out nicely if you get the price right. I'm just a bit sidetracked with painting jobs at the moment, and still not finished my round for the month yet which means I won't get another go in before christmas. Bloody weather.

To be honest i don't need to earn a fortune as we are quite comfortable with the wife being a specialist teacher for a blind lad

She gets paid ok as she reads and writes braille

Only another year and a bit until she is qualified to work for the visual impairment team and will then be paid very good money teaching teachers and teaching assistants

Plus i have started doing a bit of handyman stuff

100 quid a day would see me happy

My mum's boyfriend was a roofer which was always done professionally

but when it was quiet we did everything

When i was 15 i could skim walls

Replace rotten bit of wooden windowsill(sometimes with p38 car body filler lol)

Dovetail joints etc

Did cdt and design com at school also which is designing then making stuff

Made a wooden half pipe for skateboards for an exam

Slightly small but worked

That stayed up for a couple of years after i left as my younger brother used to play on it

I think I'll be ok

Plus i can run fast when it all goes wrong..heehee

Smurf if i made a trolley purely for fascias gutters etc do you recommend using pure or tap water good enough

I can buy pure of a guy i know if just for final rinse on a conservatory

Won't need a lot

Or does pure actually clean better?

I just pop out to do a bit and got what I needed doing but the downside to cold weather a guttervac is darn useless if the gutter crud is still frozen solid inside the guttering. You also cant really use a pro gutter tool either as I found out today. I'm going to have to give it a hand job missus :D

The one i have tomorrow is full of leaves as a they back on to a big woods

Easy just throw onto driveway and sweep away

Got 2 new work t shirts arrived yesterday

Still got mr squeegee written on them..lol

Shite name i know but i chose it years ago when it seemed good

Problem is i am diversifying but the name says window cleaning

Will have to have something sensible like db exterior cleaning services or something to that effect

I find pure does work better than tap water but if you are using chems it don't matter what you use. Just make sure if your going to use chems when washing down plasrics it dont dry out on the sureface and especially on glass.

See, I've learnt something right there, tell me more about this.^

Careful of this with the weather so wet mate, gutter bukkake can stain like blackcurrent on a white t shirt.

.

Cut out rotten bit of windowsill

Make sure you leave a rough surface to join to and mix up some body filler

Fill gap or remake corner etc to rough shape

After 20 minutes you can file and sand a lot easier than wood

Then repaint windowsill

Will outlast the rest of the sill

If remaking a corner or end screw a couple of brass screws in so filler has something good to grip on

If you are going out early then expect the gutter crud to be still frozen after a heavy fronst during the previous night. I started a gutter job at 11.30 today and the crud was still rock solid. Some can be dead easy to do but others can be a right pain in the arse.

Only have such a low mortgage as my dad died 15 years ago and inherited his house all paid for then sold and moved

Would rather be borassic and still have him here

But you have to live with the hand you are dealt
