Dealing with 3rd parties

Dealing with 3rd parties do my head in

I gave a quote to a managment firm a while ago then out of the blue they just phoned me up asking if I would drop my price. After my reply the said they would get back to me after speaking with their client. I'm thinking like **** they will so let some other clown do it for less and see if I care

Does this happen to you too or I'm the only one they try it on with?

Sounds like they can't get anyone else and want to make a few quid off your back. Tell em to swivel!

Yep I got that feeling too so I just stuck to my price as you do.

It's highly unlikely they will but if they do come back to me then at least I will not resent doing the job as would have got what I wanted for it instead of being bartered down. They wanted it reduced by at least £150 the cheeky buggers. Mind you if I was in their shoes I would have done the same /emoticons/biggrin.png
