Ive just started traditional window cleaning again can anyone tell me what height can you climb a ladder by yourself thanks or how many floors

As high as you have balls to. But i myself never go above 1 floor or 6 meter what ever comes first.

I used to use a set of 8 metre ladders and clean out gutters by hand on 3 floor townhouses

You need experience and balls to do it though

most ladder insurance for window cleaners has a height limit of ten metres .

you will be mad if you do 3 storey work alone.

I can't remember now but sure gleaming has me covered for a lot higher than I could physically go with ladders

I always did 3 storey on my own

More recently used ankalad but did nearly quarter of a century on ladders

As you get older and look back you realise what a *** you have been

Selfish also as 1 slip and it's my family who would suffer not me as i would be brown bread

Used to do 3 story work alone for years, hated it.

As boar said, not good doing it alone!!!!

Same here Dave,

Wfp could of saved my life,

I was always careful, but doing it alone was stupid!

Although I have no problem with people doing it in pairs
