Hi been asked to clean algae off a wooden shingles mansard roof it's on a bungalow height building. Was thinking power wash on a turned down setting or Chems ? I know some Chems kill spores etc but stil leave debris on the surface

I not done it yet but been well advised by my pal from US - very common there -

Soak it down

Then apply weak softwash mix from bottom up

Then pretty quickly rinse off
