patio pointing.

Any one used the geofix patio pointing powder as have been asked to do a 210 Sq meter patio.

pointing already missing in bits know more will blow out I use an 18 inch whirl away to keep damage down but any advice cheers .

Are you removing the old mortar?

Wasn't sure if you justed brushed it in the wholes as it's not all the bad just in places.

It would look odd against the old mortar

Usually when I do them I take out the old mortar and quote for it but customer is always over the moon when the whole area looks new

It's not a big job

I use a cordless grinder go down the centre of each join

Then the mortar usually flicks straight out the rest the pressure washer will remove

It doesn't take long and the money is good

What would you charge as it's 210 Sq meters standers square slabs ?

I've haven't done it by sqm for long time

I know now by liking how long each job will roughly take and work out from that

So first day would be removing the mortar and cleaning

Second day repointing with geo fix

Depending on the joints you will need probly 100ish in Geofix

So 550

Don't under sell it

Tell the customer it will look like new and if they got a builder in they'd want that just to remove and repoint
