Hose cutter.

Gardiners sent me a couple free.

Not sure if they sell them check the site.

If not B&Q or a plumbing supply shop should sell something similar.

I use a John guest pipe cutter, don't suppose many will have one in ther shed but it cuts through hose pipe and plastic up to 22mm. At around £12 though I would have just used a fresh Stanley blade if I didn't already have one!

I would think so slippy, if you think plastic plumbing pipe is commonly 15-22mm.
