i use my old shurflo 100psi pump wired to a car battery, i removed the pressure switch and i manage to get awesome flow rate at 140psi.

Is this a booster pump from your mains pressure to fill your tank quicker

yeh you just place it before the ro unit and it pushes more water in and makes more pressure ( psi) you dont need an expensive pump like most people say you do. a window cleaning pump would do the same. i manage to get 1L off my RO in 11 seconds.

1 hr 15mins to fill up! That's good going that mate, my water pressure sits around a measly 25/30psi from mains so for 600L purified water I'm looking at 12hrs+.

I typically get around 40L an hr to 50L max and if other things are drawing off during the day like washing machine, shower, bath etc I get even less than 40L. I use a static system at home with a HF5 20" RO.
