350 litre flat tank

I'm looking to set a van up in the new year with a diy system. I have purchased a flat baffled tank and need some advice, do I need to make/purchase a tank frame or would it be OK to secure in place in the van with either straps or wood secured to floor?

A frame obviously is the best and safest option. However, I've d.i.yd two vans, one with a 500L tank, and one with a 650L tank.

Both of these are ratchet strapped in. It is imperative that heavy duty straps are used.

I bolted bars to the bulkhead and hooked up to them, and also used a couple of the anchor points.

Had my current van 8 years, and that tank hasn't moved an inch

Those tank frames sold on certain websites don't look that great to me and they appear over priced
