When I moved to the Faroe Islands with intentions of maybe starting cleaning windows again, I got a plastic bag full of old brass ettore squeegees from my brother. I still use them every day, and they work great with facelift red rubber in them.

I do have a Sörbo 45cm and 55cm I use for larger panes (and when I need to angle the handle for pole work), but for smaller panes I do love the traditional types.

Are the more modern types of squeegees really that different?

I am mainly WFP, but am thinking about getting a wagtail or f*liq for a few smaller jobs where traditional pole work is faster.
