Hi. Was just wondering what you all charge for cleaning solar panels?

I've just cleaned 144 panels which are 1m×0.5m give or take. And was wondering if I've charged right.

Does anyone have a price per panel or should I Base it on the 3 hours it took me?

Up north it's around £2-3 per panel so I'm guessing £6-9 in the south.

Cheers. I only charged £1 a panel as he is a good customer and 144 for 3 hours isn't bad. But with him telling all others around area I was looking what ppl charge. Thanks

Am on the high end of charging for solar panels at £5 a panel. And getting loads of work from it. Even getting solar Panel company's recommending me now as a solar Panel cleaner for there maintenance. Plus giving me work as well.

Just make sure you do a spotless job and charge for as it is a specialist job so the price goes up.

That's a bit gutting, I quoted £70 for 212 large panels on a flat roof and they didn't go for it!
They obviously won't ever get them cleaned. That's 3 panels for £1. Would never go that low. I knew I was low with £1 a panel but never realised ppl were charging £3+

No just pure , using chemicals will void the warranty, and the panel companies will check them for chemical residue if there is a warranty claim

Yes so I see had a bit of verbal banter with him on there !!! He's still trying to work out who I am lol !!! Cannot Evan remember his ex contractors there are so many of them

I had a customer asked me last year. There was 20 panels, about half over a conny roof. If it wasn't a customer I would have charged £30-£40. I said I'd do it for £20 (£1 a panel) for him. He screwed his face up and said don't bother at those prices. I laughed and said that's cheap, considering it's a job that only needs doing probs once a year and it will help you get the optimum from your panels. To this day they are still covered in ****, all for £20 [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

£3.50 per module, min job price of £40. Thats for domestic, never done commercial, but I'm wise enough to look at the job and know roughly how long it will take so just price on that basis.

What is the min size of pole you would need for domestic properties only? If you could get enough jobs looks like there would be some good money to be made here!

Ignore my last post, I used the search function and it seems an extreme 47 is recommended
Xtreme 47 is a great pole for lightness, but I think not the ideal for the angle of solars, as too much flex so you risk bashing it on the tile edges more.

I've recently bought the Ultimate 46 which is a little heavier but not that much, but very direct and stiff, I think the best for solars, def worth considering if your looking at a dedicated solar pole that is also super on windows too.
