Walk it widthways and then lengthways and multiply 1 by the other

An average stride is 5 foot or 1.5 metres roughly

Measure your length of your average step over ten steps, then walk the drive length and width to get the square meter area.

Or use the co ordinates feature on google earth pro which is free to download

Mark out the area with the cursor and it will work it out for you..same with gutter lengths on big houses

Accurate enough to about half a metre

I use a high tech device called a tape measure.

Actually I'm lying. I just kind of look at it and say yep thatll be 50 quid love.

What are you measuring the length of your average step with?? Surely the same instrument can be used for the drive lol

You have to measure the drive properly with a tape measure or similar if you want to look professional.
