After an hour of fruitless searching online (intelligible statistics), I'm hoping someone on here will have the answer! My van has a payload of 620kg and I'm looking for the biggest tank I can get away with. I don't carry ladders, so do you think I could get away with a 350ltr upright? Cheers.

Grippatank has one of the heaviest DRY weight systems that's why. Tank,frame,battery and wiring comes in at about 90-120kg from memory.

If you're going for a 350 Tank (wydale) they weigh about 23kg-25kg. So water,tank AND frame should see you come in under 400kg just. Strapped in and you will save about 25kg.

Things to remember are;

Roof bars,

Fuel,

Ply lining,

Driver weight,

ANYTHING added which is additional.
