Hi all,

Could you please let me know how to install Gardiner's water pump in a van?

In their website says all you need to do is connect the controller to the vans battery and the pump to the controller, is the correct?

What about the split charge battery thing? Do I need it?

I would definitely like to connect the pump direct to my vans battery but I was thinking if I get a second battery will I need keep recharging it?

Doing my best on setting my van up RO.

Any comments are appreciated.

Thank you

No point in a split relay unless you are not doing plenty of driving, You will still need a leisure battery to power controller and pump as standard vehicle battery is no good the split relay simply charges your leisure battery if you are doing over 20 miles or more a day otherwise your battery wont get a decent enough charge.

Also do a search for other posts on battery charging and batteries
