Ladder servicing or replacement

Guys just wondering what you do regarding any servicing or routine replacement of your ladder

Had mine 8 years now and whilst it's still going strong sometimes I look a the rivets fixing the brackets holding the two sections together and think if these failed now ....

Wow let me stop you right there. Source a new one Monday. Yep they can last forever. But do you really want to risk it. Deductable safety!. Its a win win my friend

When they stop looking new really or when i hear a creak ive never heard before.

Lol you know what makes me smile when custys say how ladders must ruin your knees. French/patio door sills. Now thats a creaky crunch that dont sound or feel right. If your ladders make that noise. Bin em.

id say change every 2-3 years, I'm replacing mine in couple of months, and a couple of people I know work at the lyte ladder factory 5 mins from me :2_thumbs_up_-_animated:

I replace mine every 3 years.

I would say 3 years is about the time to be looking at changing but it depends on how often you use them how heavy you are and how many times they have been blown over or dropped
