Can u put ladder on roofrack other way round?

Got on of my ladders with top (mitts) pointing to back of van. Is this safe and will ladder come off? Also got these rhino ladder clamps but they seem a bit small ony wide new roof bars. Anyone know of another good ladder clamp?

It's clamped on so won't matter what way round it is

I love the rhino clamps.. better than the old screw down ones

I always put my ladders on feet to the back of the van otherwise the soil and dirt that collects around the feet especially in the winter all ends up on the windscreen

Yeah I love the Rhino clamps, just found with my new wider roofracks I have to turn them so the open part of bit which goes under roofrack of clamp is facing the back of van but the instructions say it should be facing the front. If I don't do this it doesn't fit.

clamps didnt fit cos I had the roof bars the wrong way round lol

Looks ok better than my rollers which are about 3/4 width of roof so had to have them to one side looks a bit odd but its only a combo so nothing will look good
