I am a newbie now, but had a window cleaning round back in tha days of rattail mops and scrim.

Then preferred leaded glass windows to georgian type, and remember in those days lots of council houses had georgian type wooden windows with six panes per openning. Now prefer other way round with small squeegee on georgian....and try to avoid leaded type if have option.

When I first started, I had quite a few Georgian and bought a 6" squeegee for them.. And it took forever! I just wet n dry scrim them now when I've gotta do them trad, - quick n easy as long as they're done regularly. Hate doing leaded with a scrim though!
