Double DI

Hiya guys. I've just taken delivery of my second di tank and just wanted to ask some advice.

When using one di vessel I would allow my tds to creep to 3 before throwing out the resin.

My tds is now at 3 as we speak.

Should I fill up my 2nd vessel with fresh resin now and connect it up or allow the first to reach a slightly higher tds first?

If it helps, my tds out of the tap reads around 47.

Just do it now as you're not saving anything by waiting any longer. Connect your new/fresh vessel after it so that it pre-filters the new resin and bob's ya uncle.[emoji106]

I would let it get up to a level that you know it will start spotting if any higher

Where i am i would let it get to 11 ish knowing it won't spot if i was di only

Then swap and only change the resin when it reaches the same as your tap water or the second one reads too high

Put the current vessel ( with the tds of 3) nearest the tap and your new vessel with new resin furthest from the tap.
