Tell them they need a roofing contractor as tiles need replacing etc. I would stay well away as if you don't have the proper insurance in place you could become liable for damage.

Removing the weeds is the easy part
I grew up working on windows with mates dad and roofing with mums other half
Unless you know what you are doing i would leave well alone
I could tell you how to remove the weeds but you wouldn't be able to sort the damaged tiles etc
Not a good idea to be on a roof with a slate ripper, new tiles and copper wire with no idea what you are doing
Insurance won't cover it either and you would need fall arrest gear
