Hi guys, do any of you use ladder spurs?, and if so how easy are they to use and do you keep them on the ladder, or just use them when needed during the day?

Do a forum search for it.  I bought some but never got round to putting them on

I bought some tried them once at home, fiddly at least first time to use and weighty........but come winter a safer option than nothing additional on certain footing areas. Primarily thought about them when doing fist clean and  used ladder on some old decking that had seen better days and looked a slip liability if damp/wet.

Also has spurred me onto a bit more pole practice....getting there nicely with 10inch moerman and swivel handle plus normal applicator at moment.
