Any you boys been lately? Down in redneck Kent hunting big cats 

mountain ponds for me, not used that much so when you turn up with some spam they jump on the hook!

It's all about predator stalking for me

Don't have the patience to sit and wait

I will stalk carp off the top in summer or at the local canal where they are very clever buggers but i have to be actively hunting them not waiting for some action

Not been for ages. 

I never liked stalking, too much rffort. Would rather put the bivvy up fire the rods out then get the stove on and have a sunbathe.

Similar to us. Just three of us went yesterday. Managed to get pegs together. 

The place we went has a cafe on site, so sausage, bacon sandwiches on the go.

It was a hot day yesterday, so we all took cooler boxes and cases of strong bow. 

I suffer with extremely high blood pressure and am hiper all the time, but fishing totally relaxes me.

Anyone living in the south east, I totally recommend this place.

Its called mousehole lakes in paddock wood, Kent ?

I agree if using an alarm etc. If however, your float fishing, this is different as there are several techniques and methods you can use and adjust whilst fishing to lure them in ?

Yes that's true. Usually rock up about 7pm get everything sorted then have a kip. Get woken up at 3am, run out in your pants in the rain fall in the mud, lose the carp in the weed then back to bed. Wake up and go home.
