How they used to do it.

Remember watching the local, family run firm that did most of the town centre commercials on Friday mornings.

They used to pitch a ladder at one end to reach the top floor windows of this building, one man footing it the other used to go up and walk on the ledge under the windows and clean all the top floor windows.

Then down one for the next floor.

Half the town used to stop and watch.

Don't fancy that much lol

That looks like it would be a nightmare to wfp too, with the deep ledges and access issues below. 

Still better than ledge walking thiugh. I've done that myself. 

5 storey hotels in Glasgow, old sash windows that we had to lift up, jump outside, then someone inside used to lock us out, we'd do the windows and then be let back in. 

Re access issues...it was even worse there in 70's and 80's as there was a roundabout in front of the building as the main road went through centre of town in the days before ring roads.
