Hi,

i've just fitted a new echen 200 series ro  pump and i was wondering how long can you leave the pump on for before having to turn it off?

thanks, Kevin

Hi , thanks for reply..

I was under the impression it could only be used for an hour at a time? so I can leave it on for 5 to 6 hours really ?

A friend uses one and he has his on one of those mechanical timers.

He runs his for a period and then it switches the pump off for 15 minutes. I can't remember how long the period is but for you it would depend much on ambient temperature. If its in a hot shed in summer then the on time needs to be short whereas the on time in the same shed in winter can be much longer.
