Evening all

After some advice for those of you that have employees do you manage your own pay roll or do you use accountant to manage wages , pension scheme for staff etc ???

I know there is ways of doing paye yourself how hard is it to manage for small number staff only ???

I, and my wife, are Directors of my Company, separate from window cleaning. I use Basic PAYE Tools for our salaries, this calculates tax NI and lets you print P45's and P60's. It's very easy to use, as we don't earn enough we don't have to have a pension scheme so I can't help you with that.  

 
From reading the hmrc basic paye tool doesn't produce wage slips though right ??? How if you needed wage slips do you get to that ???

Don't need those either but I'm sure you could just copy details and write them out. Currently in pub so can't look at it. We only earn £585 a month so don't pay NI etc

 
We run a separate Ltd company employing staff on PAYE we currently use “Sage one” cost about £5 per month.

Updates are done automatically inc pension auto enrolment, FPS submission, software support all included.

Really cheap for what you get
