Hi. My round is growing and so is the 'online payment' therefore I need a separate bank account.

I've looked at business accounts but they come with monthly charges and paying in charges.

Do any of you guys just have a normal separate bank account ? Or any other method.

If a business one who would you recommend?

Thanks in advance for advice

I have a separate account with my normal bank that my customers pay into by Bacs. Details are on my ' windows cleaned today' slip which i leave after each job when customers are out or dont have cash on them.It makes it easier to tot up the books at end of each month.I can transfer instantly with the nat west app. The odd cheque I get goes into my normal account. I don't see point of paying for a business account at my level. ( part time)

There may be advantages if your business is larger. I think charges could be offset against tax.

Depending on how new your business is, Yorkshire Bank or Clydesdale Bank (same thing) are doing 25 months free banking for start ups. (Within 12 months old)

If you're a sole trader I wouldn't bother with a business account.

I have one with Santander 7.50pm but in hindsight I wouldn't have bothered and just had a current account.

My customers are too used to my account details now so can't be arsed changing them all over to a current account now.
