Gardiner backpack malfunction

The variable flow control stopped working today after I took it up a kerb, the backpack still works but only on full whack. Anyone had this issue and, before I start opening things up, is it repairable?

Pretty sure you can buy replacements from gardiner, or modify a pwm off eBay to fit. 

It could be the flow control or it could be the mains switch

If you order a flow control I would order a mains switch too, or disconnect the terminals on the mains switch, switch the cables from position 1 to Position 2 and vice versa. They you will def know if switch or flow control

Probably a bad connection on the rocker switch or the pwm

Undo 6 phillips screws on the bottom and have a look for any wires not connected

If it is that it should be pretty obvious from a quick look

I had exactly the  same problem a few months back.The wire from the controller to the battery had come loose.Contacted Gardiners and they sent me a new controller and I resoldered the red wire to the battery.No further problems.

They said  that once that wiring comes loose the controller will need replacing.
