Morning. I've been doing Windows for 12months now and slowly more and more people are asking for gutter cleans. I'm aware of SkyVacs etc but how would you go about pricing.

A couple of customers have approached me because they have been quoted couple of hundred quid for an average 3 bed semi (home counties).

I don't want to miss the boat as they seem good little earners....thanks in advance

Yeah the couple I've done have been ladders/ tools and bucket. Just thought I look like the home owner up a ladder.

If your target customers are standard houses then why go to the expense of a Gutter Vac. I have one, and do a lot of gutters but only use it when I can't use ladders safely.

I have 2 large 3 floor properties and 2 smaller 1st floor properties to do tomorrow. We will gutter vac the 1st 2 and ladder the last 2.

i price mine per gutter run cleaned. A standard semi has 5m gutters takes me about 30 minutes with vac charge £30 - if there weeds showing above gutterline then i charge an extra £10 so £40 a side if bad. Completely different for commercial did a front and rear of a bar recently took 3.5 hours charged £650

What sort of costing??

I charge £1 per foot of guttering.

Downpipes are charged as long as they take because there’s no way of knowing what’s going on until you take it apart.

Ive only ever done them for existing window cleaning clients - maybe if a non-client asked me I’d charge more...

i would suggest you work out a cost per foot/metre that you are happy with and then you always know what to charge.

Good luck buddy?
