Hi all I was just wondering if anyone had an idea how to do leaded windows with an extension pole? I got a big house to do and can't get at them with a ladder as the porch roof comes out to far. One is also a dorma window. I don't want to miss them as it's a big house and would love to pick up the street and do a great job. Any ideas would be a great help. Thank you Ash

With dormers I usually put the ladder up above the window so I'm not damaging my knees or the roof, the ladder doesn't need to be footed either, unfortunately there doesn'

I do a window above a conservatory. put ladder against con's gutter and tackle it with combi on pole, then fit my clamp with towel in it for detailing.

Be the same thing if I just wrap a microfiber around the applicator then? Does this do a good job also do you find? Can't always be fussy I suppose with awkward windows I guess.

best thing I bought was an unger clamp which plugs into the pole. In the end all one wants to do is leave the window dry so they have 0 to complain about. Works for me, been doing it for over a year now.

I do a few of these using a microfibre sleeve. I use my regular sleeve to begin with, and squeegee off what I can, then dry it off with a dry microfibre sleeve and it comes up mint. The customers love the job done. Just make sure the microfibre sleeve is dry - I keep some in reserve especially for poling leaded, and use them for nothing else.
