Removing pencil jets

Anybody got an idea on how to remove pencil jets from an old brush? Just smashed a set to bits trying to remove them. Only fit for the bin now. 1 old set left so im hoping i can salvage these ones

Use a posidrive screwdriver in the bristles of the brush to push them out might need a light tapwith a hammer , they don’t always come put successfully but usually they are ok

Thats what i used mate. It smashes the jets to bits. The head of them looks like a phillips screwdriver now and flows like fan jets haha

Brass pencil jets are easily removed with a a old drill bit and a few taps of hammer, I just place on corner of worktop in garage and tap each one out.

I use a mandrel/hole punch thing, which is round do doesn't damage the jet. Using a pozidrive sounds like a receipt for disaster.

I use an old drill bit too, heating them up a bit helps a lot.

Using the flat (bottom) of the drill bit and a tap of a hammer.
