Growths...

How do clean growths of solar panels, what cleaning solutions makes this easier? Spent nearly 2 hours on 9 panels and still not happy with the results.

According to most solar panel manufacturers you arnt supost to use chemicals to clean them don’t quite know why as they are only glass and aluminium frame providing cleaning agent isn’t corrosive cannot see a problem , we only use hot water to clean them never had a problem , if they have lichen growing on them give them a good soak with water first this will encourage the lichen to open up to absorb the moisture making it soft it then comes off very easily .i would expect that job to take maximum of 15 muinits if really bad 

As they aren't very high I wouldn't have fully extended each section of the pole, giving me more chance to apply pressure. 

I cannot for the life of me understand what you have spent 2 hours doing!

I had he same on a Conny roof the other day - the only thing that would shift it (quickly) was the Gardiner scraper. PITA!!!
