How about just getting the hook bit which goes over ridge and attach to my normal ladder? It would be a nice wee number if you could sit on the ridge with a wfp and scrub away. Looks like a weak hypo job and the roof would probably come up great. Ask if you can do a test patch by standing on the flat roof. Mix up some different strength solution and test a few small areas. If all goes well, then I would charge £750 and take two days to do it. You would need to buy a roof ladder and the one to buy is a telescopic one. A roofer told me to buy one and I use it once a month.

Like I said not going to use a ladder just scrape brush any loose moss off near gutters, before cleaning them. The roof is at bungalow height so can do it from ground or small ladder. I told her I would just give it a quick not proper clean

Totally agree, Recently it's being a shock on here that some will just be Gung Ho about certain jobs and have no idea and will be happy to jump onto a job for the sake of earning money. You are setting yourself up for a fall there either do the job properly or don’t do it at all , you and the customer will have different ideals about what a quick job is you won’t get a good reputation or recommendation by doing half a job you oviously don’t have a clue what you are doing and this is the type of job where a little knowledge is dangerous m as has already been said you would be better off spending the time canvassing regular work , you say scrape it from the ground you clearly have never done this as you would know that it will be impossible to do that all from the ground : unless you are used to that type of work after 2 hours you won’t be able to lift your arms : also scraping rosemary tiles will remove the sand finish then possibly making the roof pourous are you then going to spray it with a sealer or a colour coat ? This is specialist work and should not be attempted by someone without the knowledge of how to do it safely , if you have to ask how to do it you shouldn’t be doing it : what are you going to do if you break the tiles replace them from the ground ? Do you know how to replace them ? What are you going to do if the customer then has water ingress issues after you have “ cleaned it “ are you insured for this kind of work ? If not you are opening yourself up to all kinds of problems , listening to replyes on hear shows quite clearly that a lot of advice is being given by people who are probebly well meaning but it won’t be them laying out for any damage that you might do , I don’t want to insult you but this is way beyond your skill set

Is it roof cleaning you use your ladder for?
