Hi looking to move from trolley system to van mount, got a tank, hose reels, controllers pumps etc, can anyone recommend a decent leisure battery and what AH should I get, also I don't think I'm going to bother with a split charge as I don't do many miles so will charge it in van at night, should I get a box for battery to go in as well? Pure freedom have quoted £221 for a 110ah battery in a box with charger. I this good or not. Just interested to hear what leisure batterys you guys use in your van mounts. Thanks in advance

I’ve got just a water tank in the back of my van (No RO) and get by rotating a sealed 70ah and a 45ah battery from a Mobility scooter.

Ive had leisure batteries ranging from 75ah up to 110ah and my little buggy batteries have outlasted them all.

they were second hand from a mobility centre & cost me £10.00 each. I didn’t expect much but am pleasantly surprised.

my battery charger is a CTek charger which recycled too.

ive had cheap ones and they don’t  last.

hope you get it sorted.

Couldn't tell you what mine is tbf. Went in the county batteries shop were I get car/van/power tools batteries from and asked him is on the level advice for leisure charger and he sold me one for £60. Sits in the van connected to the constantly connected. Just plug it in at night job done. Will have a look in the morning
