How much would you clean on first clean

Yes, but only for £40 ph.

You shouldn't be getting them wet anyhow, keep the brush on the frame when cleaning at the top. The bristles form a curtain that keeps the overspray from going any higher, its only when you pull the brush off the surface you are cleaning to rinse you may get overspray if you're using a high flow. I keep my brush on the frame whilst cleaning it and then pull away slightly to rinse when I reach about an inch or two down.

 
Thanks guys , I always treated it as separate job when I did trad , but my inexperienced wfp technique was causing me to splash it slightly , and was just wondering if long term it was beneficial. Once again this forum has helped me out.
