Di vessel before or after the tank

I fill tank with RO water and have the DI vessel in the van after the tank so I can fill up with tap water whenever needed.

I live in a soft water area (Scotland) and DI after the tank so I can dump whats in the tank without losing money. It also drastically speeds up fill time. The vessel I've got, from Gardiner, can take up to 150psi of pressure and my pump is only capable of 100psi on full speed (which I never use) so it can cope with it no problems.

D.i before so then the tank is full of pure.

Only reason is to fast fill a backpack from tank.

If you don't use a backpack/trolley it's doesn't really matter I've done it both ways before.
