North West hosepipe ban.

Well, here we go with an hosepipe ban starting on 5th August for our Northern windies.

At first glance I read that cleaning windows with an hosepipe on domestic properties was to be banned. Oh dear.

Anyway a little more delving into their website and panic over, for we as commercial users along with car washes and the like are exempt.

So we can keep calm and carry on.

Should be ok.  Just be aware they could define 'commercial' users as those who have a commercial supply to their premises.  This could exclude window cleaners using their domestic supply for commercial purposes.
