Unger fixi clamp

Hi have any of you trad lads used the fixi clamp? Just wondered if it's any good for wiping around frames with a sponge? 

I bought one a few weeks ago, as had quoted for a conservatory roof clean that needed a good scrubbing.

Could'nt fault it, held sponge, cloths, abrasive pads a treat! 

for £20, made the job alot easier.

I fully agree with Dave. I have been using the clamp for over two years now for pole work to clean the frames and with a microfiber cloth to do the detailing when doing windows traditionally. I am very happy with the Unger clamp.

I purchased this Pulex clamp. Exactly the same as the Unger, but a few pound cheaper.

Where do you buy your tools from? 

Had one for donkey's years mate. It's now so full of steel pins and bits of wire it looks like one of Barry Sheen's x-rays. Invaluable bit of kit in my view. 'Fixi-Clamp'? Is that what it's called? I just call mine, 'Jaws' ?

I had to get this one for detailing a window above a conny, been a lifesaver, never had a complaint in over a year.

The pulex looks like it is more durable than the Unger I think
