Hello all.

I am currently working form a car and was looking for a van, still am if the right one comes along. Had a set back so sticking with my car for now, which is fine and have a good set up in pole and back pack.  One of the issues I am trying to work on at present is a trolly system and am seeking advice on other posts, but one other issue I want to resolve is that of filling my back pack!!!

Is there anyone with any advice or currently using somthing that can pump the water from a barrell to a back pack fairly quickly. It would make thigns a little lighter work load wise, ok its not a major issue but would love it if there was a water transfer system that anyone can tell me about or show me.

look forward to hearing form anyone on this.  I know when I get my van I will have a proper system and also the back pack option in there to, but this will probably be a little while now, dissapointing but one of those times where money has to go else where for now.

Thank you, take care, have a great week.

You will need to source a length of the right diamt hose.

The Gardiner unit comes complete with hose.

The Gardiner unit is a 19mm outlet so with a larger diamt hose will pump water faster as there is less restriction.

My son uses the gardiner back pack all the time. He lifts a full 25 liter barrel and pours the water into his backpack. Has done this for all the years he has used it and other makes before. (He has a hose reel to use on the van but prefers using the B/P.)
