Nissan NV200 satnav issue

Recommended Posts

Just bought a 2016 NV200 Acenta, which has no multifunction screen but does have bluetooth.

When using my iPhone's Apple Maps for navigation, the spoken directions will not work when listening to the radio so there are no voice prompts from the van speakers or the phone itself, having to rely on visual directions on the phone screen which is not ideal when driving.

When listening to a podcast or audio book it does work by lowering the volume of the podcast/audio book when giving spoken directions.

I've checked the van radio settings and the Apple Maps settings but there is no obvious setting change for this and a main dealer has said it's a phone software issue rather than the van.

Has anyone got a work around for this?

Thanks in advance.
